Orlando!!! Woohoo!

Frontline Youth Choir FAF Trip 2009 started out with no problems, as we left church on time on Friday, July 31st! We arrived without incident at our hotel in Orlando, about 5 pm on Saturday! We had an amazing bus trip down, with WIFI and flat panel tv monitors on board! People were able to keep up with friends and family on Facebook and email, while on the bus! Often you'd find people fb chatting with others on the bus! It was great!

Our drivers for the trip, were Darrell, who drove from Brookfield, WI to Murfreesboro, TN. Darrell stayed awake (WOOHOO!) and was allowed a great start to the trip. In Murfreesboro, the drivers were swapped, and Darrell left us to return home to Wisconsin. We now have his brother Ray, who is a great addition to the trip! He's very personable and has made it his goal to learn everyones name a few each day! (and give Barb a hard time!! haha!)

After a rather harried check-in, with hotels keys finally working, we set out on foot for dinner. Then it was back to the hotel for swimming, settling-in, and chilling in the rooms!

Today we start out early, leaving the hotel at 7:15 am (that's early - we're on Florida time!).. as we head to Orlando Union Rescue Mission. The youth choir will minister this morning at the 9 am service at the Mens division, with Pastor Dan speaking!! There will be a time of fellowship folllowing that, then helping to serve the lunchtime meal for the residents there.

After a lunch and a short chill time, we will head to the Women and Children division, where the we will serve dinner, and the youth choir will sing and Pastor Marsha will be speaking at the 7 pm service, for the residents there.

It should be an awesome day!!

We thank all of you for allowing your children and/or family members to come with us on this trip! They are all a great group to travel with!!
